Me @ the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh in 2019, reflection in Dan Graham's "Heart Pavilion."
I'm Audra M. Deemer (she, her, Ms.) and I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA where I earned my MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh and my B.A. (in Media Arts) from Chatham College for Women.
Currently I'm the Head of Acquisitions and Collections for the Library of the largest Catholic university in the U.S. (DePaul University in Chicago, IL). I manage a $4+ million materials budget and negotiate with vendors on pricing and equitable license terms to ensure research resources are rapidly accessible for our library users.
In my free time I enjoy a number of hobbies, like hanging out with my dogs, embroidery and cross stitch, baking, reading, and hiking. Peace!
